Each dish is abundant and delicious and discussion at the table all but stops as arms criss cross over the table to carve and scoop from various plates. The chicken is delicious and the salads, which can often be disappointing from the point of view of a reformed veggy, contained just the right amount of beetroot and avocado which is, to use the technical term, loads. - Field Rivers

My first encounter with Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou was at a small festival in South Wales, when I was lured in by the sound of melodic perfection emitted from the main stage. Both playing guitar and sharing a microphone, neither taking lead and gazing only into each other’s eyes, their voices twisted and turned into perfect and unexpected harmonies. - Cecilia Seilern

How did Davina Combe start?
Davina Combe Jewellery is a culmination of a childhood hobby and lifelong dream! From a young age I have always been making and designing jewellery, creating one-off pieces for friends and family. What started as a hobby then developed into a small business that I established whilst still at school. I went on to study History of Art at University where I continued to design new collections, gain jewellery qualifications and work for a number of renowned UK jewellery designers where I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience, giving me the confidence and determination to establish my own brand.

Pippa Bennett Warner dashes into the restaurant with the fur-trimmed hood of her parka grasped into a fluffy mane around her face. Her uncanny resemblance to Young Nala, her theatre debut role in the West End’s original run of The Lion King, makes me smile.
I am seated amidst a sea of chatting, chomping diners at the newly opened South Kensington branch of Le Comptoir, a funky Lebanese joint with an atmosphere not dissimilar to a Beirutian souk.
Noticing me, she skips over and before I can say anything we are embracing as if old friends.
We have never met before.
